Crisis on Earth-X

Crossover is now an annual thing in the DC CW Universe and in case you're wondering what's this year's crossover event is all about, mark your calendars because on November 27, 2017 our favorite heroes will go to Earth-X.

Today, CW and Warner Bros. announced that the crossover title is, "Crisis on Earth-X", sounds like the Crisis on Infinite Earth that opens the concept of multiverse in DC Comics.

“We conceived this year’s crossover to be evocative of the annual Justice League/Justice Society crossovers we grew up with and looked forward to as kids,” said Executive Producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg.

Also to celebrate the announcement, artist Phil Jimenez ( known for his work for Superwoman and Wonder Woman) was tasked to create a custom comic book cover for the crossover event. “Phil was the perfect choice to bring the comic book cover iteration of this idea to life. You can count on one hand the number of artists who could compellingly represent so many characters in a single image. Phil is one of them. And his design invokes the cover of JUSTICE LEAGUE #207, which was the 20th Annual JLA/JSA crossover. Our ten-year-old selves are in heaven.”

He also took inspirations from the past crossover event covers. “Some of the first DC Comics I ever read were those insane crossovers with a dozen characters from alternate earths and dimensionsthe kind of stuff I later became known for!” he revealed. “So when CW asked me to do an homage cover inspired by those amazing team up covers, I couldn't resist, the chance to draw all of The CW’s DC Super-Heroes in one crazy action sequence was insanely fun and exciting. And Romulo Fajardo'a colors brought everything to life!”

Unlike previous CW crossovers, this year’s four-part crossover will air for over two nights: Starting from Monday, November 27th and Tuesday, November 28th on The CW. Alhough Arrow will air on Thursdays this season, but for this crossover it will air on Monday at 9/8c after Supergirl, so better remember this so you won't miss anything about the crossover event.
