It's been 8 years since Lelouch sacrificed himself to unite the world and fans of Code Geass series are still waiting if there will be a new season. Last November 27,2016, Sunday, Sunrise announced at the Code Geass 10th Anniversary event that the franchise will have its new project and a three-part film compilation of the anime.
The said project is called Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection ( Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch). The story is set several years after Lelouch's Zero Requiem plan. There's still no announcement of release date and if the format of the project is in film or anime tv series yet fans are already burst out their excitement.
Code Geass was first released on October 5, 2006 to July 28, 2007 in Japan. Due to the success of the first season, the sequel series was then released from April 6, 2008 to September 28, 2008. In the Philippines, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion was aired Primetime Anime on TV 5 from November 10, 2008 to December 15, 2008. The second season was also aired on Animega on TV5 last May 4,2009 to June 5,2009 (Good old days)
