The second day of the most awaited comic convention in the Philippines, AsiaPop Comicon Manila (APCC) has brought the inner geek in all attendees. With a sudden increase in number of patrons, APCC gave what the fans what they want. Contests were held thru their Facebook page and some of them won an autograph/photograph sessions with the Hollywood guests.
Cosplayers were roaming around everywhere and someone caught our attention. We met the cool cosplayer RJ, an avid fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (TMNT).
Unlike any other TMNT cosplayers, his costume is a bit more animated and jolly. Con-goers liked his Michelangelo who is a party dude with almost everybody took pictures with him.
With Pokemon Go! as a hot item nowadays, we thought, "why shouldn't we do a Pokemon Go! and TMNT mash-up?". Why not?
Hence, the birth of our Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtle:
