Are you ready to raise your flag for the second time? The 2015 hit series Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans will have its 2nd season this coming October 2, 2016. Gundam Info released the teaser trailer at their Youtube channel last July which raised the hype of the anime' fans and Gunpla collectors.
Iron Blooded Orphans is a story of a group of youngsters from Mars that were hired by a young aristocrat lady as an escort to Earth to negotiate their economic conditions. The group must protect her and accomplish their mission even if they go to war.
Tatsuyuki Nagai (Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, My-HiME) will return to direct the new season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans at Sunrise. Michinori Chiba (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE) will also return as character designer on the project, while Masaru Yokoyama (Plastic Memories, Arakawa Under the Bridge) scores the soundtrack.
Bandai also revealed the upgraded main suit of the series namely, Gundam Barbatos Lupus. Despite the lame name, this 1/144 HG kit have its own inner frame with a lot more articulations especially the arms and snap build technology for the Tekkadan logo for the shoulders.
